Title: Accounts Payable Analyst

Location: Detroit, MI

The Accounts Payable Analyst will assist with overseeing expense report processes and supporting the Customer Service team with Travel & Entertainment inquiries, working collaboratively with offshore teams to assist with monthly reporting. This role will be responsible for identifying and recommending expense and travel system enhancements for improved employee experiences. General job duties include, but are not limited to;

• Supporting T&E programs for across both the US & Canada
• Assisting with level two escalation issues related to travel & expenses, travel arrangements, and meetings & events
• Assisting the Customer Service team with expense delinquency and escalations processes
• Escalating policy concerns and violations, as necessary
• Auditing compliance with policies & ongoing integrity of corporate card programs
• Generating business line management reports & providing program data, as needed
• Assisting the Customer Service team with Accounts Payable and other payment service-related questions
• Performs other related duties, as assigned

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to organize data, perform independent analysis, and exercise effective problem-solving skills
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Accounts Payable and/or Travel and Entertainment management experience
• Knowledge of Coupa Expense Reporting system and/or Concur Accounting
• Knowledge and use of general ledger systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across business levels (both vertically and horizontally)
