Accounts Payable Administrator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator for a company based in Largo, FL In this role, you will primarily be responsible for managing the AP operations within the Company’s Finance Department. This position requires maintaining vendor relations, ensuring the accuracy of posting in the accounting system, timely completion of the annual Form 1099, and timely payment of vendors.

$23.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Accounts Payable Administrator Duties and Responsibilities
- Process AP invoices in accounting system, ensuring accuracy in posting. This requires knowledge of account coding and review of invoices for appropriate documentation and approval to include a 3-way match for goods received.
- Propose weekly payments: manage the AP Aging, vendor due dates, and timing of payments to maximize effective cash management.
- Liaise with other department staff to ensure invoices are reviewed, approved, and submitted timely to prevent delays in processing.
- Audit employee expense reports for proper authorization, accuracy, and compliance with T&E Policy. Train employees as needed in correct preparation of documents.
- Assist in the month-end closing process for AP and AP accruals.
Accounts Payable Administrator Qualifications and Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in accounts payable and working with vendors.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency of computer skills to include; MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills
