About the Job
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist will process invoices and ensure proper documentation and approval
- Match purchase orders with invoices and verify receipt of goods/services
- Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies promptly
- Maintain accurate and organized AP files and records
- Generate and send out invoices to customers
- Record payments received and update customer accounts accordingly
- Follow up on overdue accounts and ensure timely collections
- Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare AR aging reports and provide status updates to management
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- As an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Support the finance team with audit preparations and inquiries
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial databases
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial transactions
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems) is a plus, but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
