Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Pay range $21.17 - $28.45, placement in the range is dependent on experience and qualifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process invoices for timely and accurate payment to suppliers and service companies.
- 1000+ invoices per month
- Ensure proper coding, approval authorization and use tax prior to the processing of invoices.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies between vendor invoices and purchase orders.
- Process checks and EFT weekly.
- Maximize vendor discounts in agreement with vendor terms and payment.
- Help maintain vendor file information, such as contacts, remit to addresses and EFT information.
- Prepare month end accounts payable accrual ensuring that the expenses incurred in the month are properly expensed and GL account coding is accurate.
- Responsible for researching vendor statements to ensure balances are current and discrepancies are followed up on a timely basis.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience in accounts payable in a paperless environment required, preferably in healthcare environment.
- Experience with WA State use tax regulation required.
- Experience assigning the GL accounting coding to invoices.
- Previous experience with a high volume of accounts payable (department 3,500 invoices + monthly).
- Great Plains experience preferred.
Pay Range:
$20.76 - $29.06
