Responsibilities:
1. Processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
2. Preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and assisting with monthly close processes.
3. Reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
4. Preparing financial reports, providing relevant financial data to the management.
5. Managing the invoicing process, ensuring all sales tax requirements are met.
6. Overseeing vendor management, building and maintaining positive relationships with our vendors.
7. Tracking company expenses, ensuring all expenditures are necessary and within the company budget.
8. Handling employee reimbursements, verifying expenses are within company policy before issuing reimbursement.
9. Utilizing financial software, such as PeopleSoft, to optimize accounting practices.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or a similar role.
2. Proficiency in managing accounts payable, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts.
3. Experience in preparing financial reports and managing vendor relationships.
4. Expertise in managing expenses, handling reimbursements, and using PeopleSoft or similar financial software.
5. Strong knowledge of sales tax and invoicing processes.
6. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
