Accounting Technician / Operations Specialist - TMA

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician with strong technical skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-accountability work environment. The ideal candidate will combine financial expertise with operational software proficiency to support our company's financial and operational management. Position is full-time requiring the candidate to work on site in the Rockford, IL facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management
  • Utilize QuickBooks to manage daily accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Process accounts payable and receivable with precision and timeliness
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes

• Operational Software Management
  • Demonstrate proficiency in JobBOSS or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
  • Manage and update operational data, including job tracking, inventory, and resource allocation
  • Generate operational reports to support business decision-making
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial and operational systems

• Administrative Support
  • Coordinate with different departments to gather and verify financial and operational information
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Assist in preparing periodic financial statements and management reports
  • Support audit processes by maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with QuickBooks (Advanced user level)
• Basic to intermediate accounting skills
• Experience with JobBOSS or similar operational management software
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
