Senior Accountant

Our Client is a thriving mid-size manufacturing company in the near O'Hare! They are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to handle a diverse range of responsibilities and be a key player in our finance department.

Accounting Supervisor Responsibilities include:

• Executing month-end accrual entries, ensuring accurate subledger and general ledger management
• Managing accounts payable processes, including ACH payments and expense reporting
• Handling manual payroll postings, cost entries, cash applications, and check clearings
• Posting occasional journal entries for projects to relevant GL accounts
• Translating payroll figures into journal entry numbers
• Facilitating data imports and utilizing V and H-lookups
• Ad Hoc projects as assigned

Experience Required for the Accounting Supervisor:

• BS in Accounting or Finance
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• 3+ years accounting experience preferably with Construction, Engineering, or Manufacturing
• CPA or tracking would be a plus
• Full Cycle Close experience
• Large ERP system experience preferred

Estimated Annual Compensation $100,000 to $115,000 plus performance bonus
