Accounting Supervisor - Nesco Resource, LLC

Our client in New Haven, is seeking an Accounting Supervisor/Manager to join its finance team. This is a great opportunity with tremendous growth opportunity with a distribution company.  Report directly to the company controller but also maintain relationships with C-level personnel including VP of Sales and the owner.  Join a stable family owned business that has been a leader in its indsutry for 50+ years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Controller with the monthly and annual close process including journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement analysis.
• Own the Accounts Receivable process including aging analysis, credit decisions, direct staff in collections efforts. 
• Prepare budget reports, ad-hoc reports, and assist with budgeting & forecasting. 
• Mentor staff accountant, implement process improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong background in Accounts Receivable activities.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
• ERP system and Advanced Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
