What you can expect in your role as an Orlans Accounting Specialist
Position Responsibilities:
- Identify appropriate documentation
- Submit invoices to correct contact in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate with clients via phone or email with reference to invoice questions
- Review file to generate accurate and timely invoice
- Research invoice rejections and root cause
- Escalate unpaid invoices
- Quote letter generation
- Cash application
- Process payoff and reinstatement funds
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Accountancy or equivalent
- 0-2 years experience in accounting or equivalent
- Understanding of accrual based accounting.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Exhibits professionalism.
- Flexible team player who enjoys working independently and with other team members
- Must adapt schedule to meet deadline demands when necessary.
