Key Responsibilities:

• Support the financial health of the organization by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, directly contributing to the sustainability of the organization’s mission.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing key financial insights that help the organization make strategic decisions and maximize its social impact.
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and financial transparency, supporting responsible stewardship of funds from donors and grantors.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, supporting the leadership team in achieving financial goals and outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures that promote efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with the finance team to maintain transparency, accuracy, and integrity in financial reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a nonprofit environment, with a strong understanding of nonprofit accounting standards and practices.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Passion for supporting the mission of a non-profit organization and a strong commitment to social impact.
• A collaborative team player with the ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment.
