The Accounting & Purchasing Operations Specialist will serve as a point of contact relative to Purchasing & Procurement. This position will work with teams across the company to help to manage purchasing, document flow, information and assist with reporting. The role is responsible for the timely and accurate purchase & delivery of procurement. Will also be responsible for some month end accounting and finance processes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Manage the procurement function for Origence and subsidiaries
- Oversee and manage all procurement users.
- Develop and implement procurement strategy and policies.
- Responsible for accuracy on invoices and/or credits due.
- Review all purchasing activity for potential cost savings and efficiencies.
- Research, gather and analyze data relevant to a purchasing decision.
Reconcile corporate Amex credit card Bi-weekly.
Finance/Accounting
- Assist with Month-end closing processes and open PO review.
- Assist with monthly Board Package.
- Compile data for revenue, expenses, depreciation and other financial schedules.
The Ideal Candidate:
Education:
- B. S. Degree in Business, Science or Finance/Accounting
Experience:
- Some purchasing or accounting experience is a plus
Specialized Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and have strong analytical skills
- Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced professional environment
- Must be familiar in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis in spreadsheet and word processing applications

The starting hourly range for this full-time position in Irvine, CA is $26.54 - $33.18 an hour. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
