System One is seeking an Accounting Operations Specialist II to oversee accounting operations within our client’s Electrical Distribution Operations organization.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate work order transfers to allocate expenses correctly.
- Collaborate with teams to gather information and reconcile data.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles and internal policies.
- Support financial reporting and analysis with accurate data.
- Prioritize tasks based on deadlines and organizational priorities.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Gather, analyze, submit, and monitor journal entries and reclasses.
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes for Distribution Operations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, particularly in distinguishing between Capital and Operations & Maintenance work.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of accounting experience, preferably with data entry and analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
