Accounting and Operations Manager - Torque Classic Cars

Summary

The Accounting and Operations Manager has a broad role within a matrixed environment.  The position is responsible for full-cycle accounting and financial reporting, as well as supporting the Torque Classic Cars operations department with business administration. 

Essential Functions

• Act as business knowledgeable advisor for all accounting matters to the COO.
• Lead complete accounting cycle, including billing, accounts receivable, collections, cash applications, accounts payable, etc.
• Maintain the general ledger, including setting up GL accounts.
• Financial Statement Preparation.
• Sales Tax Reporting and Tax and Commercial Insurance.
• Implement and maintain inventory management system.
• Source and acquire parts and materials as needed.
• Assist with forecasts and annual budget preparation.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and company policies.
• Perform other accounting and operational duties/projects as requested by the COO.

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Professionalism, Integrity and Ethics.
• Strong attention to detail.
• 7+ years Accounting experience.
