Summary
The Accounting and Operations Manager has a broad role within a matrixed environment. The position is responsible for full-cycle accounting and financial reporting, as well as supporting the Torque Classic Cars operations department with business administration.
Essential Functions
- Act as business knowledgeable advisor for all accounting matters to the COO.
- Lead complete accounting cycle, including billing, accounts receivable, collections, cash applications, accounts payable, etc.
- Maintain the general ledger, including setting up GL accounts.
- Financial Statement Preparation.
- Sales Tax Reporting and Tax and Commercial Insurance.
- Implement and maintain inventory management system.
- Source and acquire parts and materials as needed.
- Assist with forecasts and annual budget preparation.
- Ensure compliance with all laws and company policies.
- Perform other accounting and operational duties/projects as requested by the COO.
Required Competencies and Experience
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Professionalism, Integrity and Ethics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- 7+ years Accounting experience.
