A nonprofit in the Valley is looking for an Accounting Manager to add to their team! In this Accounting Manager role, this person will be very hands on in the GL and month-end accounting while assisting with some FP&A duties. What do you need in this Accounting Manager role?
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 7-15+ years of accounting experience
• Must have some experience managing people or reviewing the work of others
• MUST have non profit or multi-entity accounting experience
• Advanced Excel
What will you do in this Accounting Manager role?
• Manage AP, AR, the GL, and financial reporting
• Create and post journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Variance analysis of budget to actuals
• Cash flow management
• Oversee bank, investor, and other financial institution relationships
• Prepare and file taxes, regulatory reporting, and other compliance reporting
• Facilitate the annual audit.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and controls are in compliance.
• Collaborate with external auditors to support tax filings and the audit
• Assist with special projects
