Active Day has a GREAT opportunity for an Accounting Manager to join our team at our Trevose, PA office. **Hybrid Role**
Compensation up to $100,000 plus bonus based on experience

As an Accounting Manager for Active Day you will report directly to the CFO, in our corporate office in Trevose, PA. We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions, performing financial analysis and summarizing financial notes for the CFO.
Active Day has its eyes set on growth and expansion in the near future, with multiple acquisitions in the pipeline, and this role will play an integral part and have an abundance of opportunities as the company expands.
Accounting Manager responsibilities include reviewing and reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. In addition, the Accounting Manager will also be involved in reviewing P&Ls for accuracy, including proper accruals, and analysis of trend and vs Budget. In addition, this role would be involved in Acquisitions through Purchase Accounting and integration efforts.
A successful Accounting Manager combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. Accounting Manager duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.

Responsibilites:
- General ledger accounting including preparation, posting and documentation of journal entries.
- Monthly reconciliation/review of the balance sheet accounts and bank accounts
- Assist with budget and trend variance reports at month end with an explanation of variances
- Assist with audit/tax at year end
- Special projects and reports
- Financial Diligence and Integration for Acquired companies
- Property Tax Returns
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum Three (3) years in an accounting role, preferably in a healthcare industry
- Strong computer proficiency with MS Office (Specifically Excel)
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Analytical mindset
- Effective communicator with solid interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Multi-location accounting experience preferred
- CPA license is a plus
- Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus
