As the Accounting Manager, you'll oversee the financial operations at our client site, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. You'll generate financial reports, maintain robust accounting records, and implement controls and budgets to mitigate risks and enhance precision in financial reporting.

What you'll be doing:
- Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting functions
- Establish and uphold documented accounting policies and procedures
- Contribute to internal control formulation and maintenance
- Assist in preparing financial reports in accordance with corporate guidelines
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial analyses
- Manage journal entries and reconcile accounts for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Review and post weekly payroll disbursements and accruals, ensuring completion of bank reconciliations
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis, reporting significant issues to management
- Oversee the capital expenditure process
- Coordinate information for the annual audit and liaise with external auditors
- Reconcile inventory ledgers monthly
- Manage the preparation of annual labor and overhead rates for new inventory standards
- Provide management with cost reports, including work in process, inventory, and costing metrics
- Offer financial analyses for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
- Provide cash forecasting and analysis
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing setting
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Familiarity with ERP Systems is preferred
