Description
The Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting and reporting processes for enterprise software operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and delivering accurate financial reporting. This role involves managing a team, coordinating reporting activities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to streamline processes. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional attention to detail, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and refine processes for settlement reporting and software capitalization.
Manage and mentor accounting team members, fostering their professional development.
Review and approve journal entries, vendor bills, and invoices for software services.
Oversee preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate settlement reporting for business activities.
Conduct and review account reconciliations as needed.
Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
Manage state sales tax filings and respond to ad-hoc requests.
Required Skills
4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, with managerial experience preferred.
Expertise in ASC 350-40 and familiarity with the SaaS industry.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience in platforms like NetSuite a plus.
Advanced skills in spreadsheet software for financial analysis.
Strong organizational abilities and capacity to multitask effectively.
Desired Skills
Familiarity with enterprise software reporting and ticketing settlements.
Proven ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Salary range: $100k-$120k/anuual
