Accounting Manager - Applied Optoelectronics, Inc.

Summary

As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the organization overseeing the AP, AR, and Payroll functions. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising a team of employees. The successful candidate will serve as support for both external and internal audits.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage AOI US AP/AR and Payroll

• Train, mentor, and supervisor employees

• Assist in external and internal audits

• Coordinate with Treasury team to manage the cash flow

• Perform and review certain balance sheet reconciliations

• Propose process improvement in AP/AR/Payroll if needed

• Other duties to assist Controller

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Prefer a CPA license but not required

• Prefer 10 years of experience in AP/AR/Payroll

• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems, familiar with SAP is a plus

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Adhere to AOI's policies and procedures.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.

• Minimum Travel required.

Location

This position will be on-site based in Sugar Land, Texas.
