Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in California. This role is ideal for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual who is ready to lead and manage accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
- Managing the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Conducting month-end and year-end processes.
- Supervising and mentoring accounting staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Developing and implementing financial strategies and procedures.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Collaborating with other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintaining and improving internal controls and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting management or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Details:
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
