We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in our fast-paced, growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the company’s accounting operations. The role will encompass a variety of tasks from financial planning and forecasting to financial reporting and analysis. The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls to ensure company compliance with financial regulations.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all daily accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
4. Conduct regular financial analysis of company performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
5. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
6. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
7. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
8. Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
9. Collaborate with the management team to support overall department goals and objectives.
10. Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field with a focus on financial analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, accounting, financial planning, and internal controls.
3. Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager.
4. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
5. Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
6. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
10. Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
11. Proven ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
