We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position in the Accounting and Finance industry where you will play a crucial role in our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Monthly Reporting, and Financials. Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, treasury, and budgeting.
2. Producing accurate and timely financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
3. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
4. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
5. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
6. Analyzing complex financial reports and records.
7. Making recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
8. Working closely with the financial management team to create budgets and forecasts.
9. Managing and maintaining company-wide accounting policies and procedures to comply with GAAP.
10. Assisting in the development of strategic financial plans, incorporating company goals and financial objectives.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager role will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel.
5. Experience with accounting software and databases.
6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
11. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
12. Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
