Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant at KBW Financial

KBW has partnered with a growing company on a search for an Assistant Controller will be a hands-on manager and assist in upgrading policies and procedures to poise the company for additional growth.  The Assistant Controller will report to the CFO and be responsible for the following:

• Ownership of the month end close and general ledger
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Assist with process improvement and implementation of policies and procedures
• Technical Accounting Matters
• Project accounting including BOM and WIP
• Analysis of balance sheet accounts
• Oversee, develop, and mentor accounting staff
• Support the external audit

 The ideal candidate will have the following experience: 

• BS degree required
• 5+ years of related experience
• CPA a plus but not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel

 Compensation:  up to $130,000 plus bonus
