Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Manage the cash flow and supervise over the financial transactions within the company.
- Conduct CAM reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
- Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up of business operations.
- Work closely with other teams to develop and implement financial solutions for the company.
- Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis.
- Ensure company financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.
- Lead and coordinate an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
- Develop and mentor the team to ensure consistent, high-quality work.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with cash management and CAM reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software, databases, and financial analysis applications.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
