Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

The primary function in this role is to manage and perform accounting operations and monitor internal controls.

Essential Job Functions:

• Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions.
• Manage all the functions and aspects of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate and prepare monthly internal financial statements.
• Evaluate and manage financial risks to the Company.
• Coordinate preparation of annual reviewed financial statements (issued by independent accounting firm).
• Manage the budget and forecast process.
• Coordinate banking and financial relationships.
• Assess current accounting operations, implement improvements and new processes when needed.
• Evaluate and oversee accounting and internal control systems and implement improvements as needed.
• Develop and monitor business performance metrics to support the Executive Team.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance.
• Oversee sales tax regulatory requirements and filing.
• Hire, train and retain skilled accounting staff.
• Oversee and monitor 401(k) reporting in Coordination with HR Director.
• Perform financial analysis and modeling.
• Prepare and present monthly financial results to the Executive Team
• Participate in and provide support for key strategic growth initiatives including acquisitions and expansion.

Education and/or experience:

• Minimum of 10 years’ cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• BS/BA degree or above in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA License or CMA Certification preferred.
