Privately held and backed by internet pioneers Mark Cuban and Dave Samuel, Brondell is a growing and well-established manufacturing company. Our products are carried by many leading retailers, including Amazon, Costco, Home Depot, and Lowes and our products have won numerous awards over the years. We are an industry leader in our current category niche (electronic bidet toilet seats and bidet attachments) and are continuing with our expansion into new healthy home product categories such as water filtration and air purification for the home. THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:
We seek a tech savvy, analytical, and results driven Accounting Manager whose mission is to continue to grow and develop a best-in-class accounting and finance function while providing accurate and timely historic and forward-looking financial information that helps the organization make sound decisions and meet or exceed its financial and non-financial goals. The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager who enjoys sharing knowledge, developing teams, and guiding direct reports on their own journeys in their accounting careers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for accounting and finance department’s goals and results.
- Lead, coach, and mentor internal and external teams.
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closes with reporting packages.
- Ensure complete and accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review and sign off on all bank reconciliations monthly.
- Process semimonthly and off cycle payrolls.
- Manage a budget that supports the company’s operating needs and set clearly defined short-term financial goals and operational plans for the following year.
- Provide accurate ongoing budgets and forecasts to ensure that we understand revenue trends and how resources are being deployed.
- Assist leadership and department heads with implementation of business/product initiatives and departmental budget.
- Own weekly and monthly bank reporting serve as the first point of contact for all bank reporting.
- Oversee annual CPA and bank audits.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Company financial operations and provide clear explanations for all variances.
- Establish policies, rules, internal controls, and safeguards.
- Monitor the status of Accounts Receivable aging and billing collections to maximize cashflows.
- Oversee all local, state, and federal compliance work.
- Ad hoc support or special projects, as required.
- Support CFO in developing and maintaining a long-range plan that supports the company’s strategic vision as well as the company’s long-term mission and financial future.
- Perform other duties as needed by the organization.

- All other duties assigned by the manager.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required.
- 5+ years of relevant management accounting experience.
- Professional certification like CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) preferred.
- Strong technology aptitude: ability and ease to master a variety of financial software.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel as demonstrated by previous experience creating and manipulating complex spreadsheets (pivot tables, Index Match, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.) required.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and people leadership skills.
- A passion for coaching and mentoring is a must.
- Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Desire to succeed, tempered by maturity and a good sense of humor.
OTHER THINGS TO KNOW:
This is a hybrid position with office visits depending on business needs. The hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm PST but are occasionally flexible if/when you have the need. Likewise, when things are super busy, pitching in extra with everyone else is expected.
Compensation is based on skills/experience with a salary range between $114,000.00 and $145,000.00 per year.
