This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Manufacturing Controller to join our team. In this pivotal role, the Manufacturing Controller will take charge of overseeing the accounting function, conducting monthly financial statement analysis, and spearheading the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Additionally, they will lead process enhancement initiatives and provide support to the Operations team across multiple plant locations.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the month-end close, encompassing reporting and analysis, for two manufacturing plants.
Uphold internal controls for all plant-level sales, operations, and financial activities.
Manage cash flow at the sites, including weekly cash forecasting.
Enhance the company's financial performance through in-depth analysis, including variance analysis and trend identification.
Make recommendations to leadership based on analysis findings and implement process improvements and best practices.
Analyze cost of goods sold, product variances, overhead costs, allocations, and other operating expenses.
Establish, assess, and update standard costs.
Perform monthly reviews of all balance sheet accounts.
Oversee annual audits and ensure inventory accuracy.
Develop and manage plant-level budgets and forecasts.
Maintain capital expenditure and fixed asset records.
Undertake ad hoc reporting and special projects as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
CPA and/or MBA qualifications preferred
At least 5 years of experience as a Controller in a manufacturing setting
Proficiency in financial reporting, cost accounting, consolidation, and financial analysis
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
