Accounting Manager - Retail/Food & Beverage - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Growing real estate/hospitality investment firm with offices in New York is looking for an Accounting/Finance Manager. The Accounting/Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements, inter-company and account reconciliations, as well as financial reporting documents. Additional duties for the Accounting/Finance Manager include performing due diligence for M&A activity, analyze fiscal budgets, prepare forecast reports, collaborating with corporate business partners and internal staff, working closely with internal and external audit teams, and conducting revenue recognition duties.

• Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• CPA and/or public accounting is preferred.
• Food & beverage and/or retail industry experience is required.
• At least five years of finance and accounting experience with strong technical accounting and finance knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills are also required.
• Advanced systems skills.
• $140 - 157k + bonus.
