Your role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS accounting, expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, and proven abilities in managing month-end close processes and annual audits.

Your responsibilities:

• ASC 606 Compliance:
  • Ensure accurate application of ASC 606 standards in revenue and COGS recognition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for revenue recognition.
• Month-End Close:
  • Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports to track key performance indicators.
• Audit Management:
  • Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit.
  • Prepare and provide supporting documentation for audit requests.
• Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of two accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide ongoing training and development to enhance team capabilities.
  • Hold a CPA designation, demonstrating a high level of accounting proficiency.
  • Utilize expertise in NetSuite or similar ERP systems to streamline financial processes.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on SaaS industry accounting.
• Thorough understanding and application of ASC 606 revenue and COGS recognition standards.
• Proven experience managing month-end close processes and annual audits.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• CPA certification.
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.

Work Location:  

Remote.

Compensation:

The compensation offered for this position will be based upon relevant experience, qualifications, and work location. The starting salary is expected to fall within the range of $100,000 - $120,000.
