RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER

• The Accounting Manager will help to oversee, hire, train and mentor a team of Accountants, AP and AR/Collections staff.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
• The Accounting Manager will also review and handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial information and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheets, payroll, journal entries and GL.
• Prepare sales and use tax.
• Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

• BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 5+ years
• GAAP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate Excel
