Accounting Manager

CFS is working with a client in the food manufacturing industry, seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in the department and will help drive continued success, reporting directly to the Director of Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Oversee the General Ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Lead the month-end close process, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience in food manufacturing, CPG experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with NetSuite is a plus.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000/year
