Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 with annual bonus and benefits

Join a leading manufacturing and distribution company with a significant presence in the industry and a part of an international group. The company is experiencing growth and is looking for an Accounting Manager to join its team.
Role Summary:
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the close process, balance sheet integrity, and leading the AP and AR teams. The role involves managing both in-office and remote teams, driving financial strategies, and optimizing processes for efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the accounting close process
Maintain the balance sheet for three locations with a combined annual revenue of $200 million
Manage and mentor the AP and AR teams
Work with a Financial Analyst on financial reporting and variance analysis
Challenge and improve existing processes
Contribute to financial strategy and planning
Implement cost-saving systems and monitor their effectiveness
Drive financial initiatives
Create consolidated financial reports
Qualifications:
Experience with IFRS and compliance
Background in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to lead financial strategies and initiatives
Experience with complex accounting topics and financial systems optimization
