Location: Orlando, FL
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 + Bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COST ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

• Plan and oversee the annual physical inventory process.
• Collaborate with production control and purchasing teams to address material requirements, costing, and data collection needs.
• Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports and analytics.
• Conduct variance analysis on operating results and provide insights.
• Partner with the accounting team to execute financial month-end close procedures.
• Work with external auditors, supplying documentation to support quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Review and update internal control procedures, ensuring compliance with ICFR and SOX 404 requirements.
• Assist the Controller in preparing and filing SEC documents, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including the development of standard and ad-hoc reporting solutions.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED FOR THE COST ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 3-5+ years of public financial reporting experience in industry or audit.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• CPA designation (preferred).
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
