Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting Manager to join our team and oversee the financial operations of our property. This position ensures compliance with internal audit standards, secures company assets, and manages the accurate recording of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will thrive on improving processes, mentoring staff, and fostering collaboration between the accounting team and other departments
Summary:
- Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor department budgets
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax professionals
- Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insightful recommendations to the executive team
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance and optimize financial processes

Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate recording of assets, liabilities, income, and expenses.
- Assist in preparing the annual budget and forecasts, analyzing financial and operational data to identify opportunities and risks.
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes to optimize cash flow.
- Develop and maintain efficient processes and systems using advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Train and mentor team members, creating job aids and documentation to support seamless operations.
- Foster a cooperative work environment by collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment on processes.
- Promote employee empowerment and maintain a safe and organized workplace.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of one year of industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to create and improve templates and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
