Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, financial acumen, and strong attention to detail. This company offers a great work/life balance, professional growth, and flexibility. This position is onsite.

The salary for this position is $60k – $80k.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Assist with bank deposits, filing, and other accounting processes.
• Manage day-to-day processing of transactions (revenue, invoices, etc.).
• Maintenance and processing of AP.
• Assist with Payroll backup as needed.
• Ensure an accurate and timely period, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Collaborate with other managers and departments to support overall goals and objectives.

The Accounting Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Prior retail or restaurant experience preferred.
