We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in the technology manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to our company's financial health, bringing their expertise in manufacturing accounting to ensure our financial operations run smoothly and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded.
2. Preparing and presenting timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Conducting detailed budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
4. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances.
5. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
6. Overseeing the production of periodic financial reports; ensuring that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
7. Managing and reconciling all financial discrepancies by implementing effective strategies and systems.
8. Collaborating with auditing services to ensure the proper compliance with all regulations.
9. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
10. Participating in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the technology manufacturing sector.
3. Proficient knowledge of accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly strong experience in Excel.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
5. Proven ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
6. Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
7. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
8. The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
10. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
