Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a small team, overseeing daily accounting functions like AP, AR, expense reporting, and credit card reconciliations.
• Financial Close Process: Manage month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, fixed assets, revenue recognition, and consolidation.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled regularly.
• Audit & Compliance: Oversee the annual financial and benefit plan audits, as well as quarterly and annual tax filings.
• Process Improvement: Lead business process improvements and ensure accounting policies stay compliant with GAAP and statutory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Month-End Close Ownership: Proven experience managing the month-end close process
• NetSuite Experience (highly preferred)
