Responsibilities
1. Oversee, manage, and coordinate all financial reporting and analysis activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency with corporate guidelines and goals.
2. Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insight into the company's financial health, identifying opportunities for improvement and potential risks.
3. Develop and implement financial plans and budgets, working closely with the leadership team to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
4. Manage all aspects of project-based budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting, working closely with project managers and team leaders.
5. Coordinate with construction and architecture teams to ensure financial efficiency in project execution.
6. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
7. Develop and maintain systems for internal controls, financial management, and reporting.
8. Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
2. Professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA, CGA).
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
4. Strong understanding of financial reporting, financial analysis, and financial planning.
5. Proven experience in project management and financial management within the construction or architecture sectors.
6. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
7. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
8. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
9. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
10. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
