What you will be doing in this Accounting Manager role:

• Conduct proactive variance analysis and communicate key issues and opportunities to operations management.
• Lead monthly forecasting and perform in-depth analysis of the P&L and balance sheet.
• Collaborate closely with Operational Managers to align with corporate goals and drive financial and operational targets set by senior leadership.
• Oversee the complete month-end close process for the Merrimac ledger, including distribution and manufacturing activities.
• Take responsibility for managing, monitoring, and overseeing finance and accounting processes and operations.

What you need to bring to the table for this Accounting Manager role:

• Previous experience in manufacturing is required
• A degree in Accounting is preferred; a Finance degree is also acceptable
• At least 5 years of professional experience required
• Experience in a management role is necessary
• Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential
