Accounting Manager - Empowered Staffing

Position Overview:

Empowered Staffing is partnered witharapidly growing financial services company specializing in alternative funding solutions. Due to growth, our client is looking to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager. This role will be critical in bringing accounting operations in-house, managing financial data integrity, and supporting the organization’s continued growth. The ideal candidate will be an expert in QuickBooks, adept at process improvement, and capable of managing high-volume transactions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• QuickBooks Management:Manage all QuickBooks functions, including daily reconciliations, updating records for active deals, and overseeing syndicator and investor accounts.
• Financial Oversight:Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly bases.
• Process Implementation:Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and procedures to support scalability and operational success.
• Commission Processing:Handle daily commission payouts for team members and partners.
• CRM Management:Maintain and update the company’s customized CRM system to ensure centralized access to financial data.
• Compliance and Oversight:Monitor regulatory compliance and provide financial guidance to align with legal requirements as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of daily financial transactions.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for tracking and updating financial data.
• High-energy, adaptable, and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in high-growth organizations and process optimization is a plus.
