Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our clients team. This is a hybrid role based in Greenfield, IN, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, with two direct reports to support. This position is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Manage, train, and mentor a team of two accounting staff members, promoting their professional development.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
• Maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard the company’s financial integrity.
• Analyze financial data and provide reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and drive efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus!
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
