Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will oversee and manage the accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing, while also leading and developing the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and internal controls.
- Review and analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Coordinate the preparation of tax filings and ensure tax compliance.
- Liaise with external auditors and assist with annual audits.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Implement and streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
