Key Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Proven management experience with the ability to lead and mentor accounting teams.
- A strong background in both public and private accounting sectors.
- Expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP, SQL, Power BI, and Power Automate is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a knack for efficient and concise reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the accounting department.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
