Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, supervise and mentor staff

• Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements

• Ensure timely tax filings

• Coordinate annual audit activities

• Issue timely and complete financial statements

• Monitor and control cash flow by ensuring accuracy of AP payments and AR balances

• Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed

• Assist in preparation of annual capital and operating budgets and forecasts

• Provide financial analyses as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration

• 2 years of management experience in accounting department

• Exhibits the highest level of integrity and work ethic

• Results-driven, detailed, analytical

• Excellent project management and process improvement skills

Salary and Benefits

• Salary range is $90,000 to $105,000

• Location near Cleveland - In-office

• Excellent medical benefits
