Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

• Manage general ledger accounting tasks, including month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor management, and matching.
• Handle HR-related activities such as payroll (Paychex) and managing the 401(k) program.
• Supervise the Accounting Assistant responsible for accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with banking and regulatory requirements while improving cost accounting processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and provide strategic insights to executive leadership for future growth.

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sectors.
• Experience with Sage 100 is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
