Industry leading Environmental/Industrial Services company is rapidly growing and has a newly created opportunity for an Accounting Manager. Company is family owned/operated, has been in existence for decades, and is growing nationally through acquisitions and market share. Accounting Manager reports to the Controller and will be instrumental in the continued expansion, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting function.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

• Manage month end close ensuring financials are accurate and on time
• Oversee the GL, AP, AR, payroll, and other accounting functions
• Assist in preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and financial reports
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany activities
• Liaison for internal and external audits
• Budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc analysis
• Assist in evaluating accounting processes, making recommendations and implementing improvements
• ERP system improvements and implementation

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business or related
• 5+ years Accounting experience
• Strong Month End close experience
• Supervisory experience
• Growth mindset and strong problem solver
• Strong analytical and process improvement skills
