What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• Minimum 5 years of related accounting experience, including management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Role Overview

As the Accounting Manager, you will lead the hospital's general accounting department, overseeing 10 employees across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. You will develop and implement procedures for accurate financial reporting, collaborating with the Corporate Controller and external departments to ensure outstanding service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 10 employees, ensuring efficient operations.
• Financial Reporting: Develop procedures to prepare accurate financial statements for hospital operations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Corporate Controller and other departments to ensure financial integrity.
• Month-End/Year-End Closings: Facilitate timely and accurate closings.
• Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, oversee AP and check runs, and approve ACH and bank transfers.
• Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing work papers and schedules for internal and external audits.
• Reconciliations: Ensure monthly reconciliations of General Ledger Accounts align with supporting details.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $85,000 - $115,000/year based on experience.
