RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all accounting functions including payroll and accounts payable
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the month end close, including preparation of journal entries and additional supporting schedules.
- Coordinate annual audit.
- Assist in developing annual budget.
- Manage grant awards.
- Analyze financial results and monitor budget variances.
- Preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Develop and supervise accounting staff.
- Maintain a strong system of internal control. Keep sound accounting practice. Develop and implement accounting process and procedure.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable government and regulatory functions, including tax returns and other reports of compliance.
- Assist CFO with cash management and bank relationships.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and contracts.
- Assumes other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS Degree in Accounting
- CPA/MBA plus
- 5+ years’ GL experience required
- Healthcare industry required, non-profit experience a plus
- Supervisory- excellent leadership and management skills
- Solid systems experience
Salary
90,000 - 120,000 /year
