Salary Range: $120,000 - $155,000 (based on experience) + Great Benefits

Position Overview: As the Accounting Manager for our Biotherapeutics division, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and supporting the strategic growth initiatives of the company. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a background in biotech/pharma accounting to contribute to the success of a rapidly expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts to provide insights into business performance and trends.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and regulatory requirements in all financial reporting and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, such as product launches, acquisitions, and partnerships, by providing financial analysis and guidance.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Evaluate and optimize internal controls and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations.
• Serve as a key liaison for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Prior experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP standards and regulations, with the ability to apply principles to complex accounting issues.
• Proficiency in financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
