Accounting Manager
Our client, a rapidly growing organization, seeks an Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Director of Accounting/Controller to oversee critical aspects of financial management. Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with federal regulations by maintaining accurate general ledger records, including intercompany transactions.
Analyze transactions for precise revenue recognition and provision records aligned with accounting periods.
Implement timely recording of intercompany transactions.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures for accurate financial reporting.
Lead month-end reconciliations and consolidation processes for assigned entities.
Research and address technical accounting issues across consolidated entities and subsidiaries.
Manage insurance-related reserves and reinsurance matters in collaboration with the risk management team.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing infrastructure and automating procedures.
Establish and maintain robust internal controls.
Collaborate with Accounts Payable to accurately allocate expenses across various accounts, including medical loss for quality improvement programs.
Serve as the NetSuite manager, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
Partner with the finance team to investigate variances between actuals and budget/forecast.
Requirements:
CPA certification (preferred).
Experience in Big 4 public accounting.
Familiarity with NetSuite (preferred).
Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation:
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $125K - $140K per year.
