Job Summary

Oversee financial systems and processes to assist the CFO with accounting and reporting. This role involves a wide range of financial tasks, requiring strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The Accounting Manager supports company policies and represents the company professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting: Ensure accurate financial reporting, review journal entries, maintain accounting software, and improve accounting processes. Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures.
• Reporting: Prepare financial reports, assist with audits, support budget and forecast processes, and lead variance reporting.
• Cash Processes: Review disbursements and receipts, resolve inquiries, and communicate with banks. Oversee daily, weekly, and semi-monthly deposits.
• Internal Controls: Follow and improve internal controls, assist with internal audits, and safeguard financial assets.
• Other: Manage accounting staff, support IT functions, participate in company-wide initiatives, and maintain professional knowledge through continuous learning.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills.
• Ability to stay updated on relevant information technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Bachelors in Accounting or similar
• Background in Ethinol, oil, gas, chemicals, or sugar preferred.
